The crystal ware sold at MYA is bohemian crystal made of 24% lead crystal that is mouth blown and hand-cut to create extraordinary and exquisite pieces. Another unique line of products that we carry at MYA SARAY is the colored overlay (cased) cut crystal.
OVERLAY (CASED) crystal is a crystal clear base, covered by a layer of colored crystal which is a hot-technique that is applied at the furnace. During the process of refinement – known as cutting – this upper colored layer is cut through by means of diamond wheels. Thus an unforgettable effect of cut decoration, contrast of color and crystal and light, appear.
